Tessa is responsible for the management of the cluster team, development work for Horsforth Children’s Services and the co-​ordination of effective partnership work to ensure that we can achieve improved outcomes for our 019 year old and their families

Cluster Parent Outreach Worker and Targetted Services Officer

Amy provides a solution focussed, early intervention service offering parental advice, strategies, signposting and additional support for families. She works with families on an individual basis and through group work looking at parenting skills, confidence building and personal development.

Amy works Monday-​Thursday during term time.

Administrator and Cluster Activity Co-​ordinator

Lucy supports the daily running of the cluster team. She has a good overview of all the schools and services within Horsforth and is the contact point for the cluster team. She also organises and manages the bookings for activities and day trips during the holidays

Lucy works Monday-​Friday excluding Wednesdays during term time.

Vicki is responsible for the management of the cluster team supports, development work for Horsforth Children’s Services and the co-​ordination of the Governing Board and Committee meetings for Horsforth Children’s Services.

Vicki works Monday-​Friday excluding Thursdays all year round.

Cluster School Therapist

The Cluster School Therapist offers a confidential space for children and young people to work through anything that may be concerning them. It is a short term early therapeutic intervention with an aim to improve children and young people’s emotional and psychological wellbeing.

Lucy works with families both in groups and on an individual basis, looking at parenting skills, confidence building and personal develpment.

Family Support Worker

Julia works with familes both in groups and on an individual basis. Julia can offer support around managing behaviour within the home, implementing routines and boundaries; as well as supporting with school based issues such as attendance and engagement.

Julia also delivers parenting courses including our new ‘Life through the Eyes of a young person’ which she has developed alongside her colleague Amy.

Early Intervention Support Worker

Sue’s role is to provide early intervention support to schools with a specific focus around children and young peoples social and emotional mental health.

Sue also delivers a variety of parenting programmes each term to parents and carers who have children and young people who live or attend school in the cluster. For more information about the courses we have running please give the office a call.

Adult Counselor

Our adult counselor offers a confidential and safe space for parents and carers to explore how they are feeling by talking about anything that’s concerning them.
