Horsforth Children’s Services believes that by giving our children and young people time and space to play, it allows them the oppurtunity to meet and socialise with their friends, keeps them physically active and gives them the freedom to choose what they want to do.
We understand that play is an important part of every child’s life and is vital for the enjoyment of childhood as well as social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.
Horsforth Children’s Service offer a wide variety of trips and activities during school holidays which are open to all children, young people and families who either live or attend school in the Horsforth Cluster. If your child has any additional requirements in order to be able to participate fully in any of our trips or activities please contact us.
We are currently working on our summer activity programme which will hopefully be released early July.
Below is a link to our ‘Be Active, Be Sporty Guide 2015−2016’ for young people, children and their families. It provides contact information for clubs, activity and holiday providers throughout the Outer North West of Leeds.
Have a look through the brochure and find the activity which suits you best. Then simply contact the provider and get active!
Please note: Horsforth Children’s Services has listed all the providers in the brochure in good faith. However, we cannot be responsible for the quality of the service provided.
If you are a activity, club or holiday provider and would like to be included in future updated versions of this guide, please complete and return the ONW Safeguarding Checklist and Pro forma.
